As highlighted in our Season 1: Metamorphosis guides, users can accumulate Powder on applications across both layer 1 (L1) and layer 2 (L2). While users can earn more Powder by depositing on Mantle L2 applications compared to Ethereum L1 applications, there are still opportunities for those holding $mETH on Ethereum L1. One such option is EigenLayer.

Since the launch of Mantle Network, we have worked closely with EigenLayer. Mantle was not only the first to integrate EigenLayer's DA solution, but also restaked a substantial amount of $mETH into EigenLayer, and distributed over 1 million $EIGEN to eligible $mETH holders. Now we've strengthened the alliance with Season 1: Methamorphosis.

Here's how you can start accumulating Powder on Eigenlayer right away.

Restake Your $mETH on EigenLayer to Earn Powder

Step 1

• Visit the $mETH restaking page and connect your wallet.
• Once connected, you can select the "Restake" button.

Step 2

• Enter the amount of $mETH you'd like to restake.
• Click "Next."

Step 3

• Select an operator of your choice to delegate to.
• Click "Submit."

Step 4

• Approve the spending cap request.
• Confirm the deposit.
• Confirm the delegate.

After completing this, your $mETH is officially restaked, and you can start accruing 5x Powder daily per $mETH.

Users are free to unstake their $mETH at any time. To initiate the process simply select the "Unstake" tab and follow the instructions. All funds unstaked from EigenLayer will go through an escrow period before being eligible to be fully withdrawn.
