Step 1

• Get started by heading to mETH Protocol homepage and connecting your wallet.

• Enter the amount of ETH you'd like to stake and ensure you have sufficient funds in your connected wallet. Please note the minimum amount of ETH for staking is 0.02 ETH.
• Then choose either "Stake and Bridge" or "Stake".

If users choose to "Stake and Bridge," their $mETH will be available on Mantle L2, allowing them to earn additional rewards. If they decide to "Stake" only, their $mETH will be available on Ethereum L1.

Step 3

• Check the amount of $mETH you'd be getting in return and the associated transaction cost.
• Confirm by selecting "Stake."

Step 4

For first-time stakers, you will be asked to add $mETH to your wallet after the transaction is confirmed. Click on the "Add mETH to Wallet" button and confirm the addition of the token to your wallet when prompted.

If you decide to "Stake and Bridge," you'll need to complete the following steps:

• Select a custom spending cap to bridge your funds to Mantle Network.
• Complete the bridging process by confirming the bridging transaction and paying the associated gas fees.

Gas Fees Reminder: You will need ETH on L1 as gas fees to deposit your tokens from Ethereum Mainnet onto Mantle Network.

That's it! After completing those steps, your $mETH will then be available to use within Mantle Ecosystem.
