Mantle Network's Goerli Testnet will be undergoing an upgrade on Feb. 28, 2024, 1AM UTC. The upgrade is expected to take approximately four (4) hours. Please note that RPC services and the Goerli Testnet explorer and bridge will be temporarily unavailable, and the network will stop generating new blocks during the process.

Mantle Network will be upgrading its Mantle-v1 codebase to the new Mantle-v2 codebase, and includes the following feature and function upgrades:

• Removing unnecessary segments of Mantle Network's modular architecture, including DTL service and TSS network, reducing complexity
• Mantle DA remains as Mantle Network's data availability layer, and further improvements to ensure lower transaction costs will be made
• MNT remains as Mantle Network's native token and can be used to pay for gas fees, and this upgrade makes improvements to MNT storage
• Supporting Meta Transaction smart contract
• Improving user experience by optimizing gas fee strategy
• Supporting EIP-1559-related transactions
• Supporting PUSH0-related functions

Mantle Network v2 Sepolia Testnet is currently live, and we recommend that all users migrate to Sepolia Testnet as soon as possible. After Mantle Network's Goerli Testnet has been successfully upgraded, we will suspend support for Goerli Testnet on March 8, 2024, 12AM (midnight) UTC.
