It was a whirlwind of a week with Ethereum Singapore, Token2049 (and the F1 Grand Prix) in the mix. The Mantle team arrived in Singapore, stationed themselves at several Mantle booths, spoke to hackers and event-goers, and even hit the stage for panel discussions, workshops and talks. Undoubtedly, it was a massive, jam-packed week of IRL activations on the ground — and for all those who couldn’t be there to #VibeWithMantle last week, here’s a rundown of all that happened.

Ethereum Singapore: New Builds on Mantle

Three days of hacking, chatting with developers and being on call for any building assistance required for builders to create their best decentralized application (dApp) powered by Mantle Network. And while the hackathon took place in the basement floor of National Gallery Singapore, Mantle Senior Developer and Dev Rel Specialist, AFK and Libevm, hopped on stage to share their insights. Featured below in the image:

• AFK during her workshop on how to debug smart contract with Foundry
• Libevm on arbitrary code execution for data querying

Three floors up, action took place in the conference section — Mantle’s Chief Alchemist Jordi Alexander spoke on Mantle’s approach to web3 ecosystem building, alongside other speakers from OKX and Taiko Labs.

Not to forget the GOAT Vitalik Buterin himself, who dropped by the Mantle booth after his highly-anticipated session on stage!

Token2049: The Mantle Megabooth

Located in a prime spot, the Mantle Megabooth saw an endless stream of visitors throughout both days at Token2049. It was our biggest booth to date, and saw twice the number of team members there at any given time, as compared to past events!

If you were there, you might have also seen the Cryptocade, featuring many of the arcade games you know and love. Set up with the help of Yeeha Games, Mantle Cryptocade invited everyone to take a shot at the available games.

We introduced Mantle to those who were curious about the layer 2 (L2) space, and met some of our ecosystem and community members — both existing and new — face to face. At the same time, booth visitors were encouraged to take a photo of themselves at the Mantle Megabooth for a chance to win rewards, including a Citizens of Mantle NFT whitelist slot, Mantle Journey Miles and exclusive Mantle merchandise stashed away and reserved for our VIPs. We’ll be announcing the winners of this campaign soon, so look out for the announcement on our socials.

You might have also caught Jordi Alexander and Mantle’s Research Lead Derek Lim in panel discussions on DeFi and L2s respectively on the first day of Token2049.

Life of the Party

And to end off Token2049 nights, Mantle had plenty in store.

Held at one of the best bars in the world, Atlas, our ecosystem members were invited to an exclusive mixer. We thank event sponsors and co-hosts MEXC Ventures, Ondo, A41, Range Protocol, P2P, TON and Valent for making the mixer a huge success.

This was followed by the Mantle x Selini Poker Night, where poker lovers (and some professional experts) rubbed elbows with each other at tables, all in a bid to accrue winnings.

A shoutout also to iZUMi Finance for giving Mantle’s DeFi Growth Lead Gabriel Foo some time on stage to share his insights on Liquid Staking, and also briefly, Mantle’s upcoming LSD plans at their side event AGNOS. And finally, a big thank you to Mirana Ventures for co-hosting the Mirana x Mantle Cocktail Reception at Aniba.
