The long wait for our Citizens of Mantle NFT collection is over! It's time to rewrite your digital identity on Mantle — for all users who are eligible to mint a Citizens of Mantle basic character, get ready to say hello to your unique, dynamic and upgradable NFT companion.

From Oct. 11, 2023, 12PM (noon) UTC onwards*, eligible whitelisted users can now participate in the Citizens of Mantle basic character minting event. The best part? No two users will get the same NFT character, so your NFT companion is truly one of a kind.

*Please note that whitelisted users will be able to claim their complimentary mint from now until Nov. 10, 2023, 11:59PM UTC.

This minting event is open only to eligible whitelisted users. Users who were whitelisted in the initial and second rounds, and also individuals who have won a whitelist slot from Mantle's social campaigns, will have first dibs on minting their one-of-a-kind NFT.

For non-whitelisted users, please keep a look out for official Mantle announcements on our socials on different ways you can earn or buy Citizens of Mantle NFTs. These include, but are not limited to:

• Participating in Mantle Journey, accruing Mantle Journey (MJ) Miles and unlocking possible Citizens of Mantle basic character NFT(s)
• Buying a Citizens of Mantle NFT from a secondary NFT marketplace such as Mintle, recently launched by Rarible and Mantle

How to Mint

• Head over to the Mantle NFT homepage: https://journey.mantle.xyz/en/nft
• Click on "Connect Wallet" button after scrolling down the page, or directly in the top-right hand corner of the page
• On the pop-up, select your wallet application from the list of available integrations, including MetaMask, WalletConnect, Bybit Wallet, TokenPocket and more — if you have difficulty logging in, please try connecting via desktop for the best experience, or use the applications' in-built browser (if available) to access the page
• Once you've successfully connected the wallet tagged to your whitelist slot, click on the "Mint NFT" button
• You'll be able to see how many Citizens of Mantle NFTs have been minted in total, and remember to confirm your mint — please also note that gas fees in $MNT will be incurred
• Proceed to mint, and there you go, you now own a unique Citizens of Mantle NFT!
