Mantle Rewards Station Upgrades: Keep $COOK’in

In line with the release of Methamorphosis on Mantle Rewards Station, we have introduced new features to give users ultimate flexibility and help them maximize their rewards.

Please note that users who already have $MNT locked on the Mantle Rewards Station V1 contract will receive a prompt to migrate to the Mantle Rewards Station V2 contract. Once this migration is confirmed, you can utilize the new features. However, funds in the V1 contract will still be counted, but users must migrate before claiming rewards.

The first of these changes is the introduction of MNT Power (MP). All users' $MNT holdings on Mantle Rewards Station will be indexed in MP, and MP will be used to allocate to active pools.

We've also introduced fixed and flexible locks, allowing users to lock their $MNT for a fixed period to help boost their MP holdings.

If users choose to lock their $MNT for any fixed lock-in period, they won't be able to withdraw their assets until the lock-in period has matured. Those who choose the flexible lock option can withdraw their $MNT at any time.

Finally, to give users ultimate freedom, we are allowing deposits in multiple batches, meaning you can use both the flexible and fixed lock-in features simultaneously. Once the fixed lock-in period matures, it will automatically be converted to a flexible lock.

Here's an example to help explain how this works:

• If user A locks 1,000 $MNT with flexibility, 1,000 $MNT with a 50-day lock-in period, and 1,000 $MNT with a 300-day lock-in period, the total weighted would be 1000 + 1000 * 1.3 + 1000 * 3 = 5300 MP. The user will then be able to immediately allocate 5,300 MP into the ongoing Mantle Reward Station pools.

$COOK Rewards Process

Once users have their MP, it will be automatically allocated to the Mantle LSP pool, as it is currently the only active pool. In the future, users will need to manually allocate their desired percentage of MP holdings into other active pools to accumulate additional rewards.

$COOK rewards are allocated based on a time-weighted calculation of the MP locked within the Mantle LSP pool. Rewards will be displayed starting July 18, 2024, but can only be claimed at the end of the event or within 30 days thereafter. The start of the reward redemption period will be in line with the $COOK TGE. So stay tuned for updates on this over on Mantle’s X/Twitter.
