We’re excited to introduce an update to Mantle Rewards Station: Delegation for Multisig and Smart Contract Wallets. This update ensures that multisig and smart contract wallets can now delegate to any Ethereum L1 address that they control to claim their $EIGEN rewards before the event deadline on March 11, 2025.

Please note that EOA wallets do not need to delegate to claim rewards.

Why Delegation Matters

$EIGEN rewards are distributed on Ethereum L1 but is not available on Mantle Network L2. This means that if you’re using a multisig or smart contract wallet, you will not be able to claim rewards directly. Thus, with this new delegation feature, you can assign an EOA wallet on Ethereum L1 (or any eligible wallet on Ethereum L1) to claim any $EIGEN rewards you have accrued on your behalf.

How to Delegate

You can easily delegate by visiting Mantle Rewards Station.

1. Connect your smart contract or multisig wallet.
2. Go to the $EIGEN claim page and navigate to the delegation section.
3. Connect your multisig or smart contract wallet and select a wallet on Ethereum L1 to delegate.
4. Confirm the delegation on-chain to ensure proper authorization.
5. Your delegated wallet will be able to claim your $EIGEN rewards when available.

It’s crucial to complete your delegation before March 11, 2025 to ensure you don’t miss out on your rewards. After this date, unclaimed rewards will not be recoverable.
