Following a glorious end to Season 1: Methamorphosis, the next growth phase of mETH Protocol is quickly becoming a reality.

As we work towards revealing more details about $COOK, Safe Wallet users on Ethereum L1 are required to authorize an EOA address so that they will be able to claim their $COOK rewards on Mantle L2 when TGE happens.

Why EOA Address Authorization Matters

As the $COOK tokens will be distributed on Mantle L2, users who utilize Safe Wallet on Ethereum L1 may not have access to the Mantle L2 address where rewards are issued, due to their wallet structure. Consequently, they may encounter issues when attempting to claim their rewards.

To address this, we have integrated an update where users can authorize an EOA address on Mantle L2 to claim rewards on behalf of the connected Ethereum address.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Visit the mETH Protocol Methamorphosis Campaign page here, and connect your Safe Wallet.

• Upon connecting your Safe wallet, you will see a pop-up box titled ''Authorize EOA address to claim rewards''.

Step 2: Simply input your choice of EOA address into the box.

Step 3: Users who successfully input an EOA address of choice will be able to view their details in the same box.

• Please note that the EOA address provided will be the authorized address to claim and receive $COOK tokens. Double-check and confirm to avoid any mistakes, as reward distribution will be irreversible upon disbursement.
